SIGHTING: DAYTON, INDIANA (UNITED STATES)

Witness Testimony

"We were sitting outside a bonfire in Dayton, Indiana. The night was clear and great for star gazing. Around 10 pm, we began to observe a bright light that was hovering high in the sky toward to north, maybe 30-40 miles away. We could see its white light pulsate, it would become brighter and dim a bit. We watched it hover, then go up and down a little and go side to side a little for a while, maybe 20-30 min. We pulled out binoculars and could see that the object also had red, blue and green lights pulsating and rotating around the craft. It did that for 20-30 min more. Then it traveled farther away, at least we thought since it became smaller and dimmer. Then it came back after about 10 min. It was bright again hovering, pulsating its' lights, going up and down and side to side a little. It remained for another 15 min or so and then left and didn't return. The craft seemed to have a purpose and was under intelligent control. We are certain it wasn't a plane or helicopter as they have flashing red light and travel in a regular pattern. Our group of 3 adults and one child are convinced it was a UFO. We were excited, yet overwhelmed a bit by the fact we had witnessed such a phenomenon. We did try to capture the image on a phone, but it was too far to photograph."
