Witness Testimony

"May 5, 2015 just stepped to have a cig. , about 10 after 10:00. Looked to the east and was sweeping the sky towards the west. Saw a airplane in the east, very normal . As I swept towards the west at Southeast up about 10 o-clock high saw a pinpoint flash that grew yellow with red like flames to about 2 1/2 to 3 inches. Then it blanked out. The area where it was seemed black - nothing. I stood there going , wow , that was something exploding in the upper atmosphere . No sound from it that could be heard over cars going by. Stood there several minutes still looking at the area . After several minutes I could see stars in the same area , it was like a cloud had moved . I watched the sky for another half hour. Nothing else was seem . Told my sister and brother-in-law what I saw. Looked on-line for any reports by others, nothing. Just feel like I couldn't be the only person to witness this event, what ever it was. Let me know , is this something that can be verified . "
