Witness Testimony

"I was out on my deck, star gazing and observing the near full moon. i noticed, what i thought was, a satellite heading n.E., amber in color, moving in straight line. i continued to watch, waiting to see the light diminish as it flew away from the westerly sunset direction. it continued to stay bright. i thought i would lose my visual track on it as it approached a layers of clouds, but it did not; it was below clouds. i then realized that it was not a satellite. there was no running lights, just one amber light. there was no sound that i could detect. 15 minutes later, i noticed another satellite flying over head, amber in color, moving in a e.S.E. direction. no sound, and no running lights just the amber colored light. it continued on a straight path. i was sure it was a satellite, but then it turned and headed south. i am familiar with things in the sky, satellites, planes, military jets, sky lanterns etc. and both of these sightings were curious.
