Witness Testimony

"My wife and I were sitting on our back porch at approximately 10 PM on 08/09/15. We generally sit on the porch early morning and each evening for about an hour, just relaxing and talking. About 10:20 PM we both noticed a pulsating light about 40 deg. above the horizon to the S-SW. The light was pulsating on about a 2 second interval from bright to dim to bright again. We keep a small pair of binoculars on the porch to watch birds, squirrel, deer, etc. Looking through these, we could see that this light was actually 2 lights side by side. I got a stronger pair of binoculars from the house and was able to clearly see that these were indeed two lights on what appeared to be an oval object of dark gray. While we were watching this object, a single smaller bright light approached it from the south, at t a fairly slow speed. This second object did not pulsate, remaining constant. As it approached the pulsating object, it slowed even more until it merged with it. After approximately 30 more seconds, the pulsating light object blinked out and was seen no more."
