Witness Testimony

"I was taking my granddaughter and a friend to school early. the sun was just below the horizon and i noticed two stars that seemed to be directly above each other and the same brightness. i as the girls if they saw it and they said yes and it looked strange. as we came into town i stopped and watched them for about two minutes and the were moving from right to left and appeared to be connected by a thin line. i dropped the girls off and drove back to the highway about 3 minutes. they were still there and still moving west slowly. i watched them for about another minute and they slowly faded out and were gone. the lights did not appear to dim but more like a shutter closing. i spent 7 years working for two different airlines, some of that time at dfw it was not any type of running or landing lights i have ever seen. i would estimate the object was 5 or 6 miles away at about 5000 ft. but actually i have no frame of reference fo how far apart the lights were apart but it was pretty big."
