Witness Testimony

"I was standing on my deck, at about 10;00pm, watching the sky toward the south, Perseid meteors about every 2-3 minutes, north to south. I saw what I thought was a brightly-lit satellite moving from west to east, (about 30-45 minutes after I had seen a definite satellite, directly overhead, moving north to south). After about a minute or so, the object started to "hook" slightly south. As this happened, I felt the sensation that it knew I was watching it. It stopped over a star, near Orion's belt, then appeared to "bounce" off the star, back toward the east. I was able to watch it for about 15 more seconds, then it suddenly disappeared. I could not see which direction it went. I have watched the skies for 45 years, and have NEVER seen anything remotely like this with my own eyes."
