Witness Testimony

"Visiting a friends new home in Northumberland, sitting in the conservatory when she asked "is that a drone?" I stood up and saw the aerial object, opening the door I stepped outside to see an orb-esque craft, 150 yards away, it was hard to determine the shape as it very slowly passed and I could see that the edges were almost hidden and the material wasn't reflecting light in the way I am used to seeing objects, due to this the colour was also difficult to make out, a purple, greyish colour, maybe half the size of a small European car. I watched for a number of minutes, as it passed I ran down the side of the house and continued to watch it pass over the front and off into the distance eventually into the clouds. I simply stood and continually thought "Wow, wow, wow." It made no sound and did not turn, spin or make any physical movement except continue on what appeared to be a determent flight path.As a side note I got my phone out to take a picture but couldn't take my eyes off the craft, when I did put my code into the phone I felt that I didn't want to mess on with the phone and miss the moment I was in, I felt that I should just watch intently. I did take a picture at the end when it was near to being completely out of sight in the clouds but looking at the image there is nothing. This took place within a couple of miles from Newcastle airport. "
