"Wife saw it first thought it was a a/c on fire.She called it to my attention.When i first saw it ,it was about 45deg in north and quite bright -5 magnitude+/- no sound was ever heard. it drifted north to about 35 deg. then made a lazy ccw circle of 3-5 deg then dimmed and went north until it disappeared about 15 deg into trees. i later checked with nws wind on hour before and after was 3 mph from se i first thought it was a balloon but this was more than 2.5 hours after sunset. object was quite bright so it must have been lighted from within. i did report this to faa regionally. i have taught astronomy classes and spent 8 years in naval aviation many years ago. i am in my late 70's and have never seen anything like this before. the last alcholic drink i had was a small glass of wine 3.5 months ago and i don't do drugs... "
