Witness Testimony

"I was looking out a the second-story window just before going to bed. all lights were off and the sky seemed clear. apart from some faint, decorative lights on the ground, there were no other visible sources of light. the moon was opposite of where my window faced, and i had noticed how the brightness of the moon illuminated the ground outside. the incident occurred just as i noticed how clear the driveway was in the moonlight. a very bright, round orb of white light appeared into view just above the tree line (the tree line being about a quarter-mile away from the window) as if moving upward into the sky. then in a very unnatural movement, the bright orb ducked back below the tree line. this happened in the span of a second. i’ve never observed any phenomenon like this before. my instant reaction was that of bewilderment, i had never witnessed such a clear light move so quickly and unnaturally in the sky. i immediately got goosebumps, chills ran down my spine, and i focused my sight on the area where the light emerged from. my reaction from there was to tell another family member in another room. the only way i can describe the incident in visual detail is that it looked like a bright moon rise above the tree line then fall back down, in a boomerang-like movement. again, i can confirm there were no other sources of light, such as a car or light pole, in any view of my window at the time or at anytime around when the incident occurred. very strange incident."
