Witness Testimony

"I had just bought a panasonic hd v180 with full spectrum conversion in order to do exactly this sort of thing (sky/ufo watching) and today was only my third day!! i was outside my front door and was looking south along the edges of the clouds with the camcorder and came across this object which was obviously not natural. i was already recording. i thought at first it may have been a kids helium ballon or similar but the spherical object remained tight on it's x/y axis in comparison to the clouds round about it. it appeared to my eye to be rotating and /or changing shape. on closer inspection there appeared to be small lights present. (these can be seen more clearly on still and paused film. there appeared to be a metallic colouring to the object. i am ex-forces (army) we get trained to observe and report in detail. i know it wasn't a plane or venus etc etc or any of the usual excuses we get fed. i know what it was and i know what it wasn't. i was feeling rather chuffed at finding it only 3 days into my searching the skies! no feelings of dread or scared. just inquisitive and pragmatic. i tried to fasten the camera onto the tripod and ended up losing the object. my camera work is rather shaky and all over the place as i am still learning how to work it with the many options of specifc manual/auto or intelligent focus etc! that was when i lost sight of the object. i believe i was using the "1kir infra-red filter" on that particluar occasion. however i imagine that this object may well have been visible without this filter looikng at the footage. (i have attachments to add but i am struggling to send. if this sends i will then try to send again with an attachment immed. if this does not occur, contact me as i have no other way to send due to location and strength of signal)"
