Witness Testimony

"The date is an approximation, have some trouble with time with this and a subsequent thing that happened. It was 3pm and a glorious sunny day, with no clouds. I went into the garden, and directly ahead of me in the sky was a light, (to the South East), which I assumed to be a plane following an approach path to Glasgow airport. It did not however as I stood there, smoking, transform into the plane, it did not move. It was a yellow/ orange colour, like an old sodium bulb or motorcycle headlight. I watched it whilst I tried to work out what it was. I thought it was far too early for venus to be out and it was certainly too bright in my experience, having seen planets in the sky before sunset. Despite my misgivings, I settled on Venus being the logical explanation, and turned to go back in, having finished my cigarette some moments before. As I decided to go back in, it shot straight up vertically at a speed that was beyond my understanding before disappearing. When I had gone out I had checked the clock because I was expecting someone to call, so I know I went out at 3, and to my mind I couldn't have been out more than ten minutes at most, but when I got back in it was almost 3.45. That I don't understand, but there may be a logical explanation. "
