Witness Testimony

"No one observed anything. a trailcam on remote rural private property captured a beam of light shining onto the ground from straight above. the beam moved a few feet across the camera's field of view as it faded to darkness. this video was captured at 0456 hours ct on 12-04-2015 with a reconyx ultrafire xr6 wildlife camera on private property in a rural area a few miles south of montello, wi. as is evident in the soundtrack, there was no conventional aircraft present, but there is an obvious electronic hum, comprising several frequencies, which steadily decreases in both pitch and amplitude throughout the video, as if its source is moving away from the camera. also in the soundtrack is a series of apparently bipedal footsteps in the leaves on the ground, which sound like they're made by an entity smaller than a human. what triggered the camera is not known. it has a typical trigger delay of about 1 second, as specified in the attached user manual. if the beam in the video had enough infrared content, as it moved through the camera's field of view it could have triggered the camera. alternatively, the bipedal entity could have passed through a sensor zone and caused the capture."
