Witness Testimony

"My wife and i were driving down the b2042 on the evening of 8th nov 2018 when i noticed what i initially thought was a firework (it was a month or so after firework night). it was to my right hand side at around the 2:00 position at a height of around 45 degrees from horizon. initially it appeared to be like a pulsating ball. i was driving and lost sight of the object but regained sight a few seconds later (approx 20 seconds due to trees). the object then appeared to be a line of three green lights in a straight line with a red shimmering/pulsing light behind it (as it was dark we were unable to see whether there was any kind of structure to it). it headed in a slightly north, northeasterly direction. we lost sight of it again and i decided to turn into the toys hill road to try to get a better look but despite driving up the road my wife and i were unable to locate the object again, it just seemed to have disappeared. it's last known trajectory was heading approximately towards riverhead. we were both extremely puzzled by the sighting and would be interested to know whether anyone else may have seen anything out of the ordinary at this time? i have never seen anything like this before or after.I have subsequently tried to rationalise what we saw by investigating light configurations for various aircraft and drones but have been unable to find a regular explanation for what we saw."
