"We were sitting in the back yard last night watching the stars in central suffolk on long island. there is very little light pollution. she was falling asleep. i noticed a bright white stationary light appear for approximately 3-5 seconds high in the northern sky. it appeared to have no movement. i believe it was during the 10 pm hour but hadn't thought about confirming the time. "
