Witness Testimony

"Myself and two other saw what looked like a cylinder shape thing that was hovering above us as we were driving home. it was very bright orange and would drop in altitude and then shoot back upward at a very high rate of speed. we have never seen anything like this before and i know i certainly haven't. the ufo was moving in a northerly direction and then would come back closer to where we were and made several erratic maneuvers. it was there for about four to five minutes and then suddenly shot off fast and was out of view. we did not see any other planes in the area. it was not a star either or an airplane or helicopter there was no sound at all. what ever it was it sure put chills though my spine.
