Witness Testimony

"April 26 at 9:10 pm was one mile north of intersection of interstate 80 and route 40 in illinois. i was northbound and saw a caravan of lights heading east from northwest. these were dashes, some long, some short and looked much like ticker tape symbols. non-blinking lights were following each other and were moving in unison and same speed with well placed distance from each other. no deviation. speed was about what a small plane would do flying overhead at about 4000 feet. i saw this as i was driving and did not stop. saw the event from my driver side window. rolled it down for better view. event lasted about 30 seconds as lights were over me at this time and l lost visual. not believing what i just saw, attributed the lights to some lake or creek reflection. i'm still driving north when and i'm now searching the sky for more activity . at about 9:15 pm, saw a similar train of lights exactly west of me heading east. this time i pulled over to observe. in those few seconds, caravan was now south of me at about 50 degrees and i watched this group of lights disappear...Possibly into a cloud formation. lights did not reappear. imagine seeing long and short lights, following each other, in unison with no deviation moving across the night at medium speed. this is what i saw... twice.
