SIGHTING: PANAMA CITY BEACH, FLORIDA (UNITED STATES)

Witness Testimony

"Initially observed single white ball of light over water that shifted to red-orange then disappeared. seconds later and slightly higher & to the right (west) of initial sighting, observed (same?) single ball of white light that split in to two additional balls of white light (total of three now) then all shifted from white to red-orange then disappeared. shortly (within three minutes) observed single white light (further to the right/west) seeming to parallel coastline to the northwest until visual contact was lost due to low cloud cover. no strobes noted; not within local airport landing path; no surface units noted in area; no indications of surface-launched or air-launched flares; was not planet; was not meteorite; not weather/lightning. winds were from the south (which would have carried sound) but no engine (jet/propeller/helicopter) sounds noted. video from fixed ring camera mounted on balcony set to snapshot every (three?) minutes. beginning time of downloaded video is 19h42m42s; venus in upper right of video; object sighted can be briefly seen at +6 second (-2 second=20h02m12s cst) to the left and lower than venus. i've since set my camera snapshot timing to every 30 seconds and will now record live ten minute chunks when i'm out on the balcony at night (lessons learned....). second daylight image provided for reference. end"
