Witness Testimony

"A large red circle shaped object appeared out of no where and disappeared as quickly.Siting around 8:45 PM out side of Keokuk, IA. in the South Western sky. We were close to the Keokuk Airport and thought maybe it was a plane. My husband and I were traveling South West on HIghway 218 going into Keokuk, Ia. I was looking out at a really bright star in the South Western sky when all of a sudden a large red circle shaped object appeared way out in space. I said something to my husband and he slowed down and look up and saw it, too. It stayed in the same place for several minutes. It started to move very fast and just disappeared into the dark. My husband said it looked like a flare to him, but it was way too high in the sky to be a flare. Flares blow up and spread out and this object didn’t do that. It did not leave a trail."
