Witness Testimony

"It was around 8:15 in the evening. I was taking my dog out to the backyard to do her business. She was on a long retractable leash. So as she was busy, I was star gazing as I usually do. As I was looking for different constellations I noticed something moving. It was coming from the SE. At first I thought it was the shadow of a line of geese. Then I realized that it was lights moving and there was no sound. It was at about the height the Life Flight flies. (they are very loud) It was long and rectangular, with several white lights in a straight line. The thing that took me a few seconds to realize was that it was "see through". I was seeing this object move through the sky with edges, an outline, but I was seeing the stars through it! It was strange, because I saw it's lights, saw it's outline, but seeing the stars was like looking through water. They seemed to "bounce" a bit as I watched them. I could see the shape of the object as it moved, but at the same time not see the shape of the object. The one thing that was very obvious was the row of lights moving across the sky. The object moved at a steady, not fast, pace to the NW. Then it was gone. I did not see it change direction, it was just not there, or simply no longer visible. As it moved past me, it just vanished. This whole occurrence lasted maybe a minute. I was in awe. I couldn't believe what I just saw and that it was so obvious what I just saw. I got goose bumps. I ran inside and called my son, because I knew he would believe me."
