Witness Testimony

"Passed directly overhead, roughly south to north around 930 pm. Watched it from horizon to horizon. It appeared as a round red light with a glow around it. It appeared to be at a much lower altitude than the commercial aircraft also in the air at the time but I can't give a good estimate what altitude it was at. It was completely silent and was traveling at a steady but pretty high speed. It passed completely from horizon to horizon in under two minutes and appeared to change course very slightly eastward. There were no navigation lights, just a single steady red light. I grew up on air force bases and served on board an aircraft carrier as a flight deck crew member, I am very familiar with aircraft and their flight characteristics. I can't figure out what this could be as it didn't appear to be very high, traveled quickly and yet was silent. It was definitely not a balloon or satellite. "
