I'm not sure of the time, i fed the cats after coming home from night church which is at 4pm, church usually gets out at 5:30. The last time i looked at a clock was on the way home and it was 5:45, church is about 10-15 minutes away from home. I orignally said the time was between 5:30-6:00p, but after searching the sky the next night i'd say the time was more between 6:30-7:00pm. I walked out of the barn, and the sky was clear i looked up at the stars. The barn is to the west of the house and the door i exited from the barn was on the north side. Above me and to the left (west) was a jet flying in the air, i saw the blinking lights and trail it left so i knew it was a jet. Directly above me i saw 3 lights in a triangle, two white lights and a red one in the middle but toward the front and it flew over me heading in a north direction. It was windy outside so i didn't hear any noise. At first i thought it was just an airplane and went inside, but later saw pictures from ufo casebook of another case which fit exactly what i saw.
