SIGHTING: BIG CLIFTY, KENTUCKY (UNITED STATES)

Witness Testimony

"My wife was sitting on our front porch, at approximately 9pm CST, talking on the telephone. I was sitting to her right, also on the porch. To the south I noticed a very bright red-orange object appear out from the tree-tops. I stepped off our porch to observe the object more clearly. Suddenly the object made a very abrupt "streak" across the sky and just as abrupt "streak" back to its original position. Almost immediately thereafter a second red-orange object appeared and began to align its movement with the first object. The first object I observed then disappeared but the second object was soon followed by a third red-orange object. I then alerted my wife of what I was seeing and went inside to get my children and my nephew. They all also witnessed the second and third objects. We all watched them until they disappeared, for a total of about 5 minutes. Each of the objects appeared to be traveling in a south-to-southwest direction. These objects were soon followed by what appeared to be two helicopters traveling the same flight path as the three objects."
