Witness Testimony

"Standing in yard talking on home phone, phone went dead and I saw object come from NW to SE over old growth tree line but below moon in sky. Sky clear at this time. Object traveled steady from one point to the other, about as fast as a falling star, a bit slower, but maintained its brightness and glow. It was silent as it passed. It occured at 9:52pm, on 7/7/2014, and lasted only about 1-2 minutes tops. From my yard it was traveling directly towards Mt. Adams. Friend called back as I was watching and stayed on phone with me until it was over. Went in house at that point and have not gone back outside tonight.I have lived here for nine years and seen multiple things fly over, but this was unique in that it made no noise and went faster than anything else that flies over here. The lights did not blink or change color at all.I lost sight of it again as it traveled to the SE and sight line disappeared into the old growth trees. I live in the foothills and don't have a large distance of sight."
