SIGHTING: NORTH ABOUT 15 20MILES, IOWA (UNITED STATES)

Witness Testimony

"1. I was standing on a sidewalk walking home from the Fourth of July fireworks which had ended 10-15minutes before the sighting. I do not believe in UFOs but I do believe we are not alone in the universe, I like to think of myself as rational. 2- 4. I was walking in a house when i heard someone scream "LOOK AT THE LIGHT IN THE SKY!" so i ran outside and i looked up facing south and i saw this orb of what looked like fire... and it was going very slowly and right when it got just passed the town it sped up so fast it had to have traveled 50miles.It didn't look like any metal object or human structure no a missle or jet/plane of any sort it was a pure orb looking thing that appeared to be on fire. 5. my reactions were "What is that? is it a meteor?" "meteors don't stop slow down then speed up when it wants to."6. I lost the object after it traveled north out of view.I did not record any of this on any media devices, it was more of a spur of the moment and I was not the only one to witness the object."
