"Three objects observed around 10:30PM July 5th 2015 near Lake Rathbun Iowa. The objects looked to be red in color, somewhat transparent, very high and very large. My guess, they were 50 to 70k feet and were at least a couple of hundred feet in height. They traveled in a triangle pattern with the following object having a white stobe underneath. Two in front followed by one in the middle. My feeling was that it could have been some high flying observation craft with two craft being controlled by the following 3rd. A WAG. No sound...moving west to east so may have been in the jet stream. They seemed high enough to be in no rough turbulence. The night was very clear but it seemed you could see stars through the objects. Very strange looking objects."
