Witness Testimony

"Was driving home from work, then I saw what appeared to be a really bright star/planet. Nothing major, but slightly out of the ordinary. But as I drove down the road, it got brighter, as if I or it was getting closer. I pulled over and stared at it in awe for a few seconds. I could make out a cone/star-like shape around the light. It appeared to be hovering. As I reached for my cellphone camera, it shot off a red/orange object and almost immediately after, it sped off and got dimmer (as if it were also flying upwards) until it was no longer visible. As I continued to drive home, another, similar object was hovering (about 5 miles from the first sighting, and opposite of the direction it flew). Didn't have time to get out of the car by the time the second one was lost behind a tree. Unfortunately, the property was private, it was late at night and I was alone, so I wasn't comfortable searching the woods for the red/orange projectile. "
