SIGHTING: HONEOYE FALLS, NEW YORK (UNITED STATES)

Witness Testimony

"Daughter was doing homework in bedroom,it faces southeast on second floor approximately 10:15 PM. Working on computer she looked out her window and noticed bright white light hovering in distance. Called me and my wife wondering what it was? Wife looked out window and then I went outside to observe. At first thought it was jet, but didn't seem to move.No aviation lights located on object or any jet/airplane sound. Just kind of hovering, then within a few minutes I noticed light was getting larger as it was coming towards us. Moving slowly and steady it eventually flew right over my head and our house. No noise until it was directly overhead and then I could hear whooshing sound. It was triangular shape with four red rotating beacons on the bottom rotating counter clockwise and a large white intense light in the front. I could make out shape as it blocked out sky and stars. Object eventually flew off in NW direction and we lost view as it passed over trees and house. This was second sighting for my daughter and wife in a year. I missed the first sighting as I was a sleep at the time. My daughter will now only do her homework with the shade pulled down at night as she does not want to see this happen again. I feel there was something very unsettling about the incident.I am now very much in tune with any weird type of lights that I may observe in the sky."
