" At 10:35 pm there was a bright yellow light in sky to the south of Hilton, NY. The light was so bright I saw could tell there was something unusual with my back to the window. Turned around to face window and saw the bright yellow light falling and then it went out before reaching ground. Lasted only about a second. The light left a trail behind it then both the light and trail disappeared.((NUFORC Note: NUFORC received several other reports about what we presume was the same object. Several witnesses emphasized that the object did not look like a meteor, although we suspect the event was caused by a classic meteor.
