SIGHTING: PUNTA MITA (MEXICO)

Witness Testimony

"My girlfriend and I were staying at a resort in Punta Mita Mexico with a patio overlooking the ocean. We were sitting on the outside patio at approximately 9:30 pm local time when we noticed a bright orange light in the distance. The object appeared to be traveling southbound off the coast. Its altitude seemed to be low. Lower than a commercial airliner. As the object got closer, it appeared to be round and was orange and bright. The object then started to move westbound, out to sea, in a very erratic pattern and rather slowly. The object would travel in a straight line momentarily and then it would "bounce" all over. Its altitude would drop fast and erratic and it would gain altitude in the same way. When it appeared to have a somewhat normal trajectory, it would still move erratically(almost like watching an insect's flight path). Start to finish, this lasted 7-8 minutes until it disappeared out to sea. About 10 minutes later, we could see it coming back up the coast. Again, it lasted 7-8 minutes and had a very similar or exact trajectory as the previous one. I'm not sure what I saw but:
1. There is NO WAY this was a conventional aircraft.
2. My girlfriend and I witnessed the same thing.
3. It was very dark out and the sun set over 2 hours prior to this incident. It was not a reflection.
4. After the sighting, I googled "ufo sighting punta mita mexico" and was amazed to see how many other people have seen similar or possibly the same object(s). I also found that the local people have been seeing these objects for many years.
5. I was sober."
