"SUN 9:50PMMy wife and I had an interesting thing happen last night. About 10:30 I took the dogs out and while standing on our back porch, which is on the south side of the cabin, I noticed a "star" that was more active as far as the light flickering very intently with red and blue or green lights intermixed with the white light. It set still for at least 20 minutes and then slowly sank down below the mountains. I called my wife out and we watched it till it disappeared. Nothing about its actions made me think it was an airplane, (it stayed still in the sky) or a helicopter (there was absolutely no noise). At lunch today I told a friend about it and she got very excited because she saw it last night also and she had watched it for quite some time. She lives between Cherry Log and Ellijay and we live in Cherry Log. Probably 10 miles apart."
