Witness Testimony

"I was 18, still in high school. a friend and i were leaving my house at night time. the house is very rural about 5 miles west of the closest town, and no neighbors within a mile of any direction. there was only cloud cover over a field south of the house. the full moon was clearly visible toward the east horizon. two large perfect circles were carved out through the cloud cover with a blueish light glowing from the circles. my friend and i were startled and amazed at the possibility of such an occurrence. we tried to dismiss it but could not think of a plausible explanation for it. he stayed outside and i went inside for a .22 bolt action rifle. i returned and fired at the lights from the north side of the road toward the south side. an immediate distinct sound occurred that sounded like the bullet hit an invisible force. like a reverberating electrical force field sound, to best describe it. we freaked out about the sound. i fired several more times and the sound happened each time. i fired north and heard nothing. i fired south over the field but under the clouds, and heard the sound. the event lasted 30 minutes because i put the rifle away and we drove away toward town. the clouds and light were stationary the whole time. i know this report is old, and i may have submitted it anonymously before. i just wanted to make sure the story was known."
