"I saw a star that was too large just above the horizon. i was debating if it was the right time of year for venus to be visible just before dawn. watched star for several minutes. suddenly 4 smaller star-like lights appeared in a square around large one, all equidistant from it. after a second or two, they blink out, then blinked back on in a diamond formation around it. blink off, square, on, back to a diamond. this happened 4or 5 times, then all lights including the center one vanished. i have tried to figure out what it might be. my first thought was maybe it was a new tower, but i viewed it from my yard, and it has never returned, and there is no new tower. the lights were bluish white, and looked like stars. i would have thought nothing of them if they had not blinked in pattern and then vanished all at once. "
