Witness Testimony

"Around 7pm on november 1, 2019 i was outback with my wife looking for shooting stars. on average we had heard 5-12 per hour and i had already seen a few when i was outside with my dogs. i noticed a very bright star that appeared to be bouncing or going back and forth but i thought my eyes were playing tricks as they adjusted to the dark again. i pointed at it and said to my wife, 'does that star or satellite look like it's waving back and forth?' she agreed, it then followed along a wavy path, straightened out and then suddenly disappeared. i kept watching the sky thinking it was lost behind a cloud but nothing appeared again much less any clouds as it was a pretty clear night. i had downloaded the night sky app and ran to my phone to see if it was a satellite that was in orbit but none were on a similar trajectory. would love to know if anyone saw something similar or can explain/debunk. otherwise i'm claiming ufo. we have quite a bit of air traffic near here and this was not like what we are used to seeing. we usually can hear it too, this was silent. "
