Witness Testimony

"Appeared to be an extremely bright satellite type object moving at a slow steady speed from south to north. while it did so it was setting off tiny flashes in the immediate surrounding area behind it's flight path. i at first believed these to be planes at high altitude in the area. however, the flashes would quickly appear as dim starlike flashes, and then immediately stop. the weather was very clear, and l was able to confirm that there were no actual visible planes that i was able to observe in the area, even with binoculars i had. object was first observed at approximately 30 degrees to the south, and continued north as a steady bright white light until it was out of sight approximately 30 degrees above the horizon.
