Witness Testimony

"Orange ball-like objects move slowly across the sky horizontallyOn Sunday July 3, 2011, at approximately 10:00pm Central time, we were watching some fireworks with our young grandchildren at Crooked Lake, located on Cty W between Mountain and Crivitz, WI.As the fireworks were falling there were some orange balls, similar to the ball-like sparks from fireworks that disintegrate in a few seconds, except they moved horizontally across the sky from the north to the south. We were on the west side of the lake and they were directly overhead moving toward the fireworks and then past them. There were 3 of them spaced evenly apart and they followed the same horizontal path across the lake but never fell. (They were about 30 seconds apart.) We then moved to the south side of the lake to a parking lot to watch the rest. Again 3 more of these orange objects moved across the sky at the same height, following what looked to be the same path as the first 3 we saw, spaced evenly apart, but this time about 10 seconds apart. Now they were west of where we were standing. A few minutes later there were 2 more, again about 10 seconds apart, following the same horizontal path as the other ones did.At first we thought they could be small airplanes or helicopters because of the height at which they were moving, but the more we watched we were convinced they weren’t because they had only an orange glow that in no way flashed. Because of the noise from the fireworks we could not tell if these objects were making any sound.We have never seen anything like this before. A few other people, who came near the end, saw the last ones and also wondered what they were. My husband is the manager of an office beverage service and I am an elementary school teacher. If anyone else saw something in central to northeast WI on July 3, please share with us. "
