Witness Testimony

"While driving home(west)along Kynesville Road after running an errand in Marianna, a bright metalic green(orb or puck shaped)object appeared in the sky above me. It came from behind and went over the top of the car from east to west at roughly a 45 degree angle towards the ground. It was approximately 1000 ft above me. I was able to view the object for about seven seconds as it rapidy desended towards the ground. I pulled the car off the side of the road, and stuck my head out of the window in an attempt to either hear or see the impact. There were no other vehicles around at the time. There was no impact sound, nor any debris (that I could find) as one would have expected from the rapid decent of the object. I continued driving west along Kynesville Road searching along the road and in peoples yards for any sign of an impact sight or debris. I came to the junction of Kynesville Road and Hwy 231 where I then pulled into a church parking lot and waited for the sounds of emergency vehicles responding to the event. There were none! In my twenty plus years in the emergency field (retired) I had been trained by the Air Force to evaluate and respond to emergencies. Evaluating parameters and the details of an incident or accident are basic requirements. In my judgment an object traveling at that speed, and trajectory would most certainly have hit the ground. "
