Witness Testimony

"A five light pattern trailed by two lights maintained a northernly heading and constant speed.Three of us were sitting on my deck facing south by slightly southwest (approx 210 degrees) I saw five white lights in a pentagon shape, heading approximately 030 degrees. After watching it for about two minutes, two additional lights appeared equal distance behind the five lights. The heading did not change, no turns, by all three objects. The objects heading remained the same until they were out of sight. There was no sound throughtout the viewing. I called Fairchild AFB to determine if they had picked it up on radar. The tower was not answering the phone. Base ops gave the the telephone number to report the incident. I am a retired Air Force Officer with flight experience.((NUFORC Note: We spoke via telephone with this witness, and we found him to be quite objective and sober-minded in his description of the sighting.
