" A loud aircraft, that I was unable to locate in the sky.I did not see any objects in the sky. I did hear an extremely loud aircraft but was unable to see anything when I looked for it. The sky was clear at that time. The sound went from west to east. Air traffic in the Spokane area is sometimes heard, this was not like any of those 'planes.I was in the Air Force, married to an air traffic controller, some knowledge of aircraft.This was unusual in that it was quite loud, but I was unable to see anything.My son also heard this at the same time.
