Witness Testimony

"Ochoco national forest near ranger station. At approximately 2:30am a large round light in the sky woke me. We were truck camping in the woods and the light was so bright that I saw it through my eyelids! At first I thought it to be the moon but it was so bright and literally lit up the surrounding woods. The moon was also out and about 3/5 full. The light hovered above a mountain about 1/2 mile away. I watched it for 5 minutes as it hovered. It began descending and appeared to land in the trees. I watched the lights in the trees for another 5 minutes. Then it produced a split second flash resembling a camera flash. The light gradually disappeared afterwards. I watched for another 10-20 minutes before I went back to sleep. I saw nothing else. "
