Witness Testimony

"I went out of my apartment onto my steps landing outside to have a cigarette. I sat in my chair and looked out at the sky as I usually do. It was 8:25PM EDST and it was well into dusk with a large dark cloud directly ahead of me with edges of light sky framed against the large hills across the valley. A minute went by when I noticed an orange glowing object come into view around the corner of my building. It was traveling about the speed of a small plane and making no sound that I could hear.(There is a small airport across the valley where I see small planes and jets take off and land all the time. I can't actually see the airport because of the small hill and treeline.) When I saw this glowing object I got very excited and ran into the house to get my cheap camera. I came back out and it had stopped moving south and was apparently hovering for a few minutes. It seemed to be in the approximate area near the airport or a little bit closer to me. I struggled to find a setting to capture some pictures and snapped some, but my hands were shaking so I was getting light trails instead of a solid object. (I had put the setting on Fireworks.) After a few photos the object then rose up into the dark cloud overhead and I lost sight of it immediately. I stayed out hoping to get a glimpse of it again when it came out of the edges of the big cloud but I never saw anything of it after that. I have tried to download my pics, but I am not very good with electronics. The pics are in my Windows media pics and not in my normal picture storage for some reason. "
