Witness Testimony

"I was at the end of my driveway looking for the cat to bring inside for the night. i almost always look at the stars when i am out at night and noticed one that was brighter & pulsing. at first i thought it was a plane but after just a few seconds i discarded that thought. i have no idea what it was but my best description would be a hovering sphere that tapered at the ends with 2 "pulsing beams" (i guess would be the best way to describe them) which were coming down & away at approx. a 45 degree angle...1 on either end of the main object. the beams went from not visible to fully extended in 3 separate, equal length, segmented pulses and then repeated. when the beams when fully extended they were about 1/2 again longer that the diameter of the main object. full cycle for the beams to extend was about 3-4 seconds. they would do a varied amount of cycles and then quit only to start again after about 1 minute. i have done a lot of skydiving during the day & night, so i have been in and around a good deal of conventional & military aircraft and this was something i have never seen before. i observed it for about 10 minutes and took a photo and a couple videos on my phone. unfortunately, i had to use max zoom and between that & the hand movement at that setting it is pretty lousy video. after about 10-15 minutes i went in to wake up my wife to show her. i was gone about 5 minutes and when we came back out it was no longer visible."
