Witness Testimony

"On september 21, 2017, at about 10:00 pm pdt, on our way home from oregon, we saw what i can not call a meteorite fly slowly across the sky at an altitude of between 50 to 100 feet above the ground. we were somewhere between connell, wa, and washtuckna, wa. it was flying at an angle to our route, so it passed across our field of view, from right to left. it looked a bit like a crescent, thicker in the middle, and tapering to a tip on both sides. much like a flying wing. it was a brilliant shade of green. it was difficult to gauge its size, but it was flying slowly and emitted a few red sparks from the underside of the object. we had it in sight for about 5 to 10 seconds before it flew over a ridge. we saw no evidence of an impact as we drove further on down the road. what struck us most was that is was not going fast like a meteorite, but rather maybe 50 and 100 mph at most. one thing i neglected to say about this event, is that whatever the object was, it was totally silent."
