Witness Testimony

"I was driving home from work on md rt. 100 west toward ellicott city when i first saw the light. at first i expected it to be an airplane since i saw two airplanes going west from bwi (nearby airport) a few seconds before i saw the light. it stayed stationary, south from where i was on the highway. i kept an eye on it while i was on my way home. as i kept heading west, i realized it did not move at all since i first saw it. it remained hovering, stationary with a consistent glow of light for the approximate 15 minutes the object was in my view. about 2 minutes before i lost sight of the object, i saw the object eject another smaller object, emitting a flashing red light with the interval of red flashes between 1-2 seconds between each flash. it seemed like this ejected object was moving very fast as each time it flashed the red light it was much farther away from the original white light i initially saw. it also appeared as if this red flashing light was moving upward toward the sky away from the white light/object as if it were going into the atmosphere at about a 25-degree angle from the original object. eventually i turned north and lost sight of the objects, but the original, glowing light remained stationary throughout the time i had clear view of it. i also saw no other airplanes during this sighting other than the two i saw right before i saw the light."
