Witness Testimony

"Happened to wake up about 3 am and could not sleep. i looked out the window and saw a v shaped craft -- like a boomerang with pointed wings or a chevron shape. it was moving across the sky past the tall trees near our house. it was about 8-12 inches across from my viewpoint. it made no noise at all. i watched it moving slowly across the sky for a couple of minutes. it seemed to be a dark object except for many lights that went all the way across it. however it could have been entirely lit up, because it was moving behind the hundreds of bare tree branches that cover the sky from my window. the utter silence of an object so big was the most amazing thing. my best guess is that it was about 500 feet above the ground, and about 50 feet across moving very slowly -- too slowly for a plane of that size.
