Witness Testimony

"While walking the dog outside tonight in our driveway, I was looking up at the stars as I always do. I noticed the flashing lights of an airplane which are quite usual and frequent in this area. Almost immediately something moving caught my eye; something was moving very fast, westward. It went from the trees on the east side of my driveway to the trees on the west side ... from the angle I viewed it approximately 1/4 mile in about 5 seconds. It appeared very dark with no lights or marking that I could see -- it was almost like a shadow but was definitely something solid. It may have been a meteor with a long tail high up enough so that it didnt appear meteoric in nature, but its hard to say. From the appearance, it was solid, quite long, probably 500 to 1000 high (although that is very hard to tell at night under the stars) and moving very fast."
