Witness Testimony

"At around 10:12 PM local time, I noticed what appeared to be an extremely bright star to the Northwest, North of the summit of Mt. Chocorua and at approximately 20 deg. above my position. Since we live in a dark area and there are a number of bright magnitude stars/planets that are visible from our location to the western sky, I initially discounted the sighting, but realized that I observed this object with the light on in the bathroom which indicates the intensity of the object's light. Shortly thereafter, shutting the inside light off, I went back to the same window and further noticed that it was completely overcast, but the moon's light could be been seen dimly through the thinner parts of the overcast. I further observed the intensely lighted object as the only lighted object in the sky. Upon a more focused look at the object, which was also confirmed from my son, there were color changes from red to green and yellow and white along the perimeter of the object. The object wobbled left and right and up and down but made no other direct-line motion and continued to be extremely bright. I don't suspect that this was an civilian or military aircraft, due to my extensive experience in aviation.At approximately 10:30 PM after observing the object for about 15-18 minutes, the object began to slowly dim and completely extinguished itself over approximately the next 30 seconds. No further sighting(s) was observed. "
