Witness Testimony

"WE were vacationing on Little Spider Lake about 17 miles NE of Hayward WI. Every evening there were six of us who played pinochle in my cabin. About 9:30 PM the resort owner came to our window and said to come and see the Northern Lights. We all went down to the lake and stood on the dock. I immediately said "those are not the Northern Lights''. There appeared to be something very small about 500 to 1000 feet above the water across the bay. From this apex shown six or eight beams of pure white lights that were like lasers in that there was no deflextion in them.The beams looked to be about six to eight inches in diameter. Most of the beams were over the water but two or three looked like they may be on the opposite shore. We gazed at this for maybe five minutes when someone suggested we get back to the game and we did. I wish I had taken pictures of the sight but I didn't. For years I have wondered if anyone else has reported such an event. It was a very clear night. There was no movement while we observed. We all witnessed the same thing and agreed none of us experienced anything like it before. Pease tell by email if this was a possible UFO.."
