Witness Testimony

"Driving from the bloomer/ cornell area south on hwy 124. as we turned onto 124 from hwy 64, i instantly noticed a huge contrail that spanned my entire horizon to the south over chippewa or eau claire county running pretty much dead east to west. 10:45 a.M., sunny skies, sparse clouds (5%). this area has trees on the horizon and it was literally across the entire skyline, low in the air, far away, yet nothing size or lengthwise that i have ever seen. as we took our exit north of eau claire in lake hallie 20 minutes later, the far right or west side of the contrail had started to dissipate (maybe 3% of the entire trail). just above the tree line as far away as the eye could see. it almost had what i can describe as a slight bend to it... because it spanned the entire line of sight. i had my daughter get some video or pictures of it. when she gets home i will upload it/them. until then, i'm going snowmobiling. the trails opened yesterday. grip and rip!!!"
