"Last night, around 4 am, i was awoken by a loud motor like sound. i sat up in my bed and looked out the window which was facing me, at the west end of my room. i witnessed an extremely bright white light moving closer and closer over my house to my front yard, as the sound seemed to also get closer and louder. once it reached my front yard, it seemed to have moved higher up in the sky as i couldn't see the object itself but still saw the white light it emitted on the yard/surrounding trees. moving in a straight lign, it almost looked like a comet the way it descended straight down behind the tree line. i still could see the bright light through far away tree branches, but couldn't make out an actual object. once it disappeared, the sound stopped too.
