"opening day of teal season 2014 in Iowa.had two friends with me. one to my right noticed the light first in the Northwest sky. It was brighter than all the other stars and was not flashing at all. The object moved on a steady path from northwest to southeast for approximately 15 minutes until disappearing out of sight. My father was in aviation during Vietnam and taught me the difference between planes and other aircraft at night and during the day. There were planes flying from two different directions during this same time and the object in question was definitely out of our atmosphere.This was not any recognizable aircraft to me and didn't appear to me to be a satellite either."
